The fox jumped out at her, and her, suddenly aware of her surroundings, unsheathed her claws and jumped on its back. It grabbed her neck between its jaws and she clawed blindly at it,s muzzle as it shook her. She saw the world being turned black...


She heard a yowl and the fox dropped her and snarled at another shape at the edge of the clearing. The figure stared. The fox tried to scare it, but it just snarked and threw it aside, breaking it's neck, and it advanced to the young shecat*
